January 2025 SQE 1 statistical Report
Earlier this week the SRA released a January 2025 SQE 1 Statistical Report. In this post we review some of the data from the report.
In July 2024, 5,006 candidates took FLK 1 & FLK 2 of SQE 1 and the overall pass rate was 44% (per SRA).
Jan 25 SQE 1 Statistical Report
In January 2025, 6,782 candidates took FLK 1 & FLK 2 of SQE 1 and the overall pass rate was 56%.
This is an increase of 1,776 students and an increase of 12% in the overall pass rate, from July 2024.

Per the January 2025 SQE 1 statistical report we still have work to do to bring more diverse people into the legal profession.
